Thick paper poster promoting Alton B. Parker for president and Henry G. Davis for vice president, 1904. 20 1/2 x 26 1/2". The top and bottom edges appear to have been trimmed about 1" but this rare campaign poster is in otherwise excellent condition. Inscriptions include pointedly anti-Roosevelt sentiments from the 1904 Democratic platform: "...No Colonial Exploitation - Ultimate Freedom for the Filipinos...We denounce protection as a robbery of the many to enrich the few..."
