Silk ribbon promoting Henry Clay for president and Theodore Frelinghuysen for vice president, 1844. 2 7/8 x 5 3/4". It appear that the ribbon had become separated, with two old fabric repairs on the back. Black ink stain top and bottom are printer's blemishes. Quite rare and displays well despite the separations.
