Heavy (weighs nearly 12 pounds) metal instructional voting machine from the 1920 campaign, used to show voters how to properly mark their ballots. Lists Republican candidates Harding & Coolidge (and Nathan Miller for governor, NY) and Democratic candidates Cox & Roosevelt (and Al Smith for governor). 12 x 14 1/2", about 3" thick. With original metal easel. There is a light stain on the DIRECTIONS FOR VOTING card, but this is in otherwise excellent condition. Unusual, and a terrific display piece from the 1920 election.
