1920 instructional voting machine (Cox & Harding)

SKU 05264W
Heavy (weighs nearly 12 pounds) metal instructional voting machine from the 1920 campaign, used to show voters how to properly mark their ballots.  Lists Republican candidates Harding & Coolidge (and Nathan Miller for governor, NY) and Democratic candidates Cox & Roosevelt (and Al Smith for governor).  12 x 14 1/2", about 3" thick.  With original metal easel.  There is a light stain on the DIRECTIONS FOR VOTING card, but this is in otherwise excellent condition.  Unusual, and a terrific display piece from the 1920 election.
