DON'T BLAME ME ... I VOTED FOR HELEN GAHAGAN DOUGLAS
SKU 01225E
Pinback button from the early 1970's given out at a dinner in honor of Helen Gahagan Douglas, a reminder of the contentious 1950 Senate campaign in California between Douglas and Richard Nixon. Nixon claimed Douglas was a communist, and Douglas referred to Nixon as "Tricky Dick", a moniker that would follow him his entire political career. Scarce 1 3/4" cello in excellent condition.
