Large 44 mm. medal struck in silvered white metal promoting George B. McClellan for president, 1864. Listed in the Sullivan token book as GMcC 1864-88. In choice AU condition with attractive toning. Latin inscription on back translates roughly to his exploits as a Civil War military hero and "Love of Country".
