MY CHOICE FOR PRESIDENT (Sewall)

Pinback button promoting Arthur Sewall for president, 1896-1900. 1 1/4" cello in excellent condition with a GERAGHTY MFG. CO. CHICAGO backpaper. Although he died in September of 1900, our best guess is that this is a 1900 hopeful item issued four years after Sewall's unsuccessful campaign as Bryan's VP candidate in 1896. Very rare, the first we've seen.
