Ribbon from the Republican National Convention in Chicago promoting William B. Allison for president (Republican hopeful), 1888.  2 3/8 x 6", in excellent condition.  Allison would try his luck again in 1896 for the Republican presidential nomination.  Quite rare, the first example we've encountered.
