Ribbon-badge worn by an ALTERNATE delegate at the 1900 Republican National Convention in Philadelphia, which nominated William McKinley for president and Theodore Roosevelt for vice president. An attractive chocolate bronze medallion featuring conjoined busts of Lincoln, Grant, and McKinley is suspended from a PHILADELPHIA badge by a patriotic ribbon. Reverse of the medallion lists Republican presidents and presidential candidates from Fremont in 1856 to McKinley in 1896. 1 1/2 x 5", in excellent condition throughout.
