Ribbon-badge promoting Theodore Roosevelt for governor and Timothy Woodruff for lieutenant governor (New York), 1898. 2 1/8 x 6 1/4". 1 1/4" cello promoting TR for governor is attached to an applied patriotic ribbon, and a 1 3/4" REPUBLICAN EMBLEM GREATER NEW YORK cello featuring an eagle atop a glass globe ballot box is suspended below. The TR picture pin has three blue dots to the left of his portrait which occurred during the printing of the button paper, and VERY faint discoloration along the left edge. This rare ribbon-badge is in otherwise excellent condition.
