Paper poster mounted on thick cardboard promoting William Howard Taft for president, 1912. 22 x 28". Very light a minor stains are confined to the bottom edge, otherwise bright, excellent condition. Outstanding graphics with pennants from universities: Yale, Woodward, and University of Cincinnati. Inscription bottom right: COPYRIGHT 1908 BY JACOB HOFFMAN CINCINNATI, OHIO. This was originally a 1908 poster - the black letters on gold areas were repurposed and repainted for the 1912 campaign. Rare and unusual.
