Description
Brass token from the Hoover & Smith campaign of 1928, and advertising the Harry W. Harm Mfg. Co. in Los Angeles. 30 mm., nicely struck, and in XF-AU condition. The reverse shows the back side of a donkey and elephant. The donkey has an upside-down whiskey bottle (representing Prohibition) and the elephant has an upside-down oil can (a reference to the Republican Teapot Dome scandal). Very unusual and quite rare - the first we've encountered.
