As collectors ourselves, we know that, next to authenticity, no factor is more important with regard to antiques and collectibles than condition.

To help customers evaluate items we offer for sale, we have established a formal Grading Policy. We use clear, precise grading terminology, and we don't clutter our descriptions with extraneous and irrelevant information. Nothing you deserve to know will knowingly be omitted.

Ordering

Customers may place orders by phone, fax, e-mail or via our website.

Unless special arrangements have been made, orders submitted by mail must include payment in full, including freight and any applicable taxes, or merchandise will not be shipped. We will make no exceptions to this policy, even for errors in calculation. If there is any doubt as to the total amount due, the customer is advised to call 1-800-372-0605 before remitting payment. 

Orders submitted by fax will be confirmed by return fax or by phone. Do not remit payment unless confirmation has been received.

Orders may be submitted by phone by calling 1-800-372-0605 (toll-free within the United States) during regular hours of operation (M-F, 9am-4pm, PST). Orders left in voice-mail will be confirmed by return call. Do not remit payment unless confirmation has been received.

Orders may be submitted by e-mail (send to: [email protected]), but should include no sensitive information, such as credit card account numbers. We will send a confirmation via e-mail, and may request that the order be completed by phone. Do not remit payment unless confirmation has been received. Customers will also receive an e-mail confirming shipment.

Orders may be submitted via our website (www.USAmericana.com) 24 hours a day, 7 days a week (some orders may not be processed until the following business day). The customer will receive a confirmation via e-mail, which confirms that the order was successfully submitted. Customers may wish to confirm the order by phone prior to remitting payment, as availability of merchandise is subject to change. If any revisions to the order are made, the customer will be notified by e-mail or phone within one business day. Customers will also receive an e-mail confirming shipment.

Privacy and Security

When you do business with USAmericana, you may be asked to disclose some personal information, such as your name, address, phone number, e-mail address, and information required to authorize a credit card transaction. This information will be stored by USAmericana to help us provide you with better service. When your personal information is collected, we will take reasonable and appropriate steps to prevent unauthorized access or disclosure, but it is up to you to protect your privacy and information security by controlling account access.

When you create an account, you will choose a unique user ID and password. We recommend that your ID be something you can remember easily--your first initial and last name, or a favorite nickname. Your password should be a combination of at least five letters and digits, preferably chosen at random (avoid passwords that are actual words). Never share your password with anyone, and try to commit it to memory (avoid writing it down anywhere). For maximum security, change your password at least once every few months.

USAmericana never sends e-mails asking you to reply with your account or other personal information.

An increasingly common scam, called "phishing," uses official-looking e-mails to deceive consumers into disclosing their personal information. The e-mail often directs the recipient to a bogus website that mirrors the legitimate website of a business, tricking consumers into thinking they are responding to a valid request. To avoid getting caught in any of these scams, please remember to:

  • Keep your password secret and change it periodically.
  • Never give out your account information by e-mail or telephone, unless you initiated the contact. USAmericana never sends e-mails asking for personal information.
  • Whenever you wish to register at USAmericana.com, edit or add new information to your account, or set up a new account, please make sure the URL address is as follows: https://usamericana.com/customer/account/. You may want to add this URL to your browser's Favorites or Bookmarks menu.

Always end your secure session on USAmericana.com completely by clicking the Log Out link at the top left-hand side of the page, and by closing your browser's window before you leave the computer. If you believe the security of your account has been compromised, contact Customer Support or call 1-800-372-0605 immediately.
