USAmericana is a venture of Tom French, who for over 45 years has collected and dealt in vintage American campaign and presidential memorabilia. In that time, Tom has seen the political hobby grow from obscurity, numbering a few hundred devotees whose interaction was limited to occasional meetings and a few small publications, to a large and increasingly global fellowship of amateur and professional historians, attorneys, educators, librarians, politicos and political junkies: people from all backgrounds and all walks of life who share a common interest in politics and political history, and who work, together and as individuals, to ensure that the material heritage of our American democratic experiment is preserved for future generations.
