Sterling silver figural pinback souvenir from Miner's Day at San Francisco's 1898 Golden Jubilee celebration, marking the 50th anniversary of the discovery of gold at Sutter's Mill that sparked the California Gold Rush in 1848. Marked "SHREVE & CO." and "STERLING" on the reverse. Measures 3" wide, and in excellent condition.
