Scarce pinback button from the Greater American Exposition in Omaha, NB, 1899. This lesser-known fair was the brainchild of a group of investors who sought to capitalize on the success of the 1898 Trans-Mississippi Exposition, raising funds to purchase the existing grounds and holding another Exposition the following year. 1 3/4" cello exhibits overall light spots and fading, so take a good look at the photo. Whitehead & Hoag Co. backpaper advertises "THE WESTERN TRUST AND INVESTMENT CO."
