Badge promoting William Jennings Bryan for president, 1896. A 1 x 1 3/4" tintype is enclosed in a decorative 2 x 3 3/8" brass frame with an eagle atop a patriotic celluloid shield. There are several light horizontal surface scratches through Bryan's portrait but this is in otherwise excellent condition. Extremely unusual and the first we've seen.
