Enamel on brass "courtesy" pass issued to a delegate to the 1940 Democratic National Convention in Chicago, which nominated Franklin D. Roosevelt for president and Henry Wallace for vice president. "YOU ARE HEREBY EXTENDED THE COURTESIES OF THE CITY OF CHICAGO" with a facsimile signature of Mayor Edward J. Kelly, and the Seal of the City of Chicago at top. 2 1/4 x 3 3/4", in excellent condition.
