Cotton bandana featuring Carhartt founder Hamilton Carhartt, circa 1900. About 25 x 25", in excellent condition. Carhartt Company was founded in in 1890's and was initially focused on the railroad workers' need for durable work overalls, thus the CARHARTT train motif on the four corners of this bandana. An interesting advertising/labor crossover.
