Herb Gardner pinback group (8)

Group of eight different pinback buttons featuring cartoons by Herb Gardner, creator of the strip The Nebbishes, all with 1955 copyright. Herb Gardner's characters and their slightly odd one-liners were a national craze at the time these were produced, gracing greeting cards, barware and matchbooks in addition to pinbacks. Each is a 1 3/4" cello with "BERNAD CREATIONS, N.Y." along the curl. Generally excellent overall with some pieces exhibiting light soiling, so take a good look at the photos.
