Copper medal promoting William Jennings Bryan for president, from the 1900 Democratic National Convention in Kansas City, Missouri. Measures a large 43 mm. (nearly 1 1/2") diameter, in excellent condition, and beautifully struck in an attractive chocolate brown color. Looped for suspension. Obverse features conjoined busts of Jefferson, Jackson, and Bryan. Reverse features the Liberty Bell with the date of the 1900 DNC and the inscription A REPUBLIC AGAINST AN EMPIRE.
