McNARY DAM DEDICATION BY PRESIDENT EISENHOWER SEPTEMBER 23 1954

Ribbon badge from the dedication of the McNary Dam in Umatilla, Oregon, dated September 23, 1954. 2 1/4 x 4 3/4" overall, quite rare, and in excellent condition. The dam was named in honor of Charles McNary, Willkie's running mate and Republican Senator from Oregon. McNary died the year before this dam was dedicated. Only time we've seen this.
