Description
Ribbon badge worn by a Pennsylvania Delegate from the 1900 Republican National Convention in Philadelphia, which nominated William McKinley for president and Theodore Roosevelt for vice president. 2 x 5 3/8". Beautifully struck in copper. There's some trivial discoloration on the white portion of the ribbon, but this rare and attractive badge is in otherwise excellent condition. The perimeter of the reverse of the medallion lists Republican presidential candidates from 1856-1896 (Fremont - McKinley).
