President Grant "endorses" JAMES DOUDICAN'S OWL CIGARROS

Single-sided flier advertising "OWL" CIGARROS, circa 1870. 5 1/2 x 8 1/2". There's a minor paper chip top right corner, otherwise excellent condition. Take the time to read the text on this wordy and clever flier - it's hilarious, and makes the claim: "No Cigar ever met with such an enthusiastic reception since the discovery of tobacco...President Grant sent for the first box and said he would rather be the man who made that Cigar than be President".
