SHOOT OUT at KANSAS CITY 1976

Pinback button promoting Ronald Reagan for president, 1976. Clever 2 1/4" cello in excellent condition made by Dutchess House in Poughkeepsie, NY, for the 1976 Republican National Convention in Kansas City. Caricatures show challenger Ronald Reagan in the "good guy" white hat and Gerald Ford in the "bad guy" black hat. There's a matching version that shows Ford in the white hat and Reagan in the black hat (check inventory #408). This was probably the most popular button at the Republican Convention.
