Susan B. Anthony Fined $100 for Voting (NY Herald June 20, 1873)

New York Herald newspaper dated June 20, 1873. 12 pages, 15 1/2 x 24". There's a 4-5" horizontal split through all the pages at the centerfold, otherwise excellent condition. On page 8 is a one column x 5" article concerning the trial of Susan B. Anthony, fined $100 for voting. The article states that when Anthony was asked if she had anything to say why sentence should not be pronounced, she replied that "...she had a great many things to say, and declared that in her trial every principle of justice had been violated; that every right had been denied..."
