U.S. SENATE Impeachment OF THE President...MARCH 13, 1868

Unused ticket to the Impeachment proceedings of President Andrew Johnson, 1868. 3 x 5", in essentially excellent condition (trivial discoloration near the top left corner of the stub), and printed on thick enamel-coated cardstock. Desirable in that this is dated the first day of the trial - March 13, 1868. Subsequent tickets would differ a bit: the Philip & Solomons, Wash. D.C. inscription would be moved to the bottom right of the ticket, and GALLERY would be printed diagonally on the left bottom edge of the main ticket.
