Description
Window decal urging an end to the nation's economic depression, circa 1933. Interesting and historical, this measures 6 1/4 9" and is in excellent condition. In his first Inaugural address, President Franklin D. Roosevelt declared "war" on depression and set about to prepare the nation for an expansion of federal power. FDR recognized that the programs he was about to introduce for congressional legislative action to relieve the dire effects of the Great Depression were unprecedented in peacetime.
