Pinback button promoting the 25th anniversary of the WEEKLY PEOPLE, the official publication of the Socialist Labor Party, and memorializing Daniel DeLeon (who died the year before this pinback was produced), 1915. 1" cello in excellent condition. DeLeon was instrumental in the growth of the Socialist Labor Party from 1890 until his death in 1914 and the founder of the Industrial Workers of the World (IWW). He was the candidate for governor of the SLP in 1902 and 1904, and candidate for Congress in 1894, 1896 and 1908.
